Pickled Red Onions by T2T

Learning how to make pickled red onions is SO very easy – it only takes five minutes and you probably have all the ingredients already! You'll love having a jar of these in your fridge to sprues up sandwiched, wraps, salads, avocado toast, and more!

INGREDIENTS 》
2 medium red onions, thinly sliced
1 cup, boiling water
¼ cup white vinegar
¼ cup apple cider vinegar
2 tsp white sugar or honey
1 tsp sea salt flakes
¼ tps of mustard seeds
10 pepper corns
INSTRUCTIONS 》
To a large heat-proof jar with an air-tight lid (mason jar or similar) add the sliced onions.
Add the vinegar, water, sugar/honey, mustard seed , salt, and peppercorns to a small sauce pot.
Stir over low heat until the sugar and salt are dissolved. Place a lid on the pot and bring the mixture up to a boil over medium-high heat.   Once it reaches a boil, pour the vinegar mix over the sliced onion( Press the onion down so all the pieces are submerged)  then let the mixture cool to room temperature.  (About 2 hours)
Close the jar with the lid, and give it a few gentle shakes. Transfer to the fridge.  Enjoy !
