Easy Homemade Crepes

Served with blueberries, banana, cream and honey

These homemade crepes are light, soft, and perfect for breakfast, brunch, or a sweet treat. Serve them folded or rolled, then top with fresh blueberries, sliced banana, a dollop of cream, and a drizzle of honey for a simple and delicious finish.

Serves

4–6

Ingredients

  • 1 cup plain flour

  • 2 eggs

  • 1 1/2 cups milk

  • 1 tablespoon melted butter

  • 1 tablespoon sugar

  • A pinch of salt

  • Butter, for cooking

To Serve

  • Blueberries

  • Banana, sliced

  • Fresh cream

  • Honey

Method

  1. In a bowl, add the plain flour, eggs, milk, melted butter, sugar, and salt.

  2. Whisk until the batter is smooth and runny.

  3. Heat a non-stick frying pan over medium heat and add a small amount of butter.

  4. Pour a small amount of batter into the pan and quickly swirl it around to create a thin crepe.

  5. Cook for 1–2 minutes until the edges begin to lift and the underside is lightly golden.

  6. Flip and cook the other side for another 30 seconds to 1 minute.

  7. Repeat with the remaining batter.

  8. Serve the crepes warm with blueberries, sliced banana, cream, and a drizzle of honey.

Serving Idea

Fold or roll the crepes, then pile on the fruit, cream, and honey for an easy, beautiful breakfast or dessert.
