Duck Fat Potatoes are a crispy and easy way to make roasted potatoes and still get a super crunchy texture and buttery soft interior. Add them to your Christmas feast this year, it will be a crowd pleaser. 

INGREDIENTS》 
1.5kg Dutch Creams Patatos
200g Duck Fat
2tps garlic power
2tps Salt and Peppe
Fresh herbs to serve 
INSTRUCTIONS 》
Peel potatoes and cut in half.
Add 1tbs to large pot of boiling water. Boild patatos for about 9 minutes till just tended.
Drain patatos well and allow to sit and cool in a single layer.  
When cool enough to handle use a small sharp knife, make slices 3/4 the way through the rounded side of the patatos. 
Sprinkle with garlic powder, salt and pepper. Set aside 
ROAST》
Pre- heat over to 190° 
Pour duck fat into a heavy based roasting pan( metal is best) Place in a oven to heat for 7-10 minutes.  
 
Remove pan from oven, working quickly. Transfer patatos to the pan coating in the melted fat before arranging cut side down. 
Roast for 20 minutes. turn patatos, roast for 15 minutes. Turning back to cut side down. Roast till golden brown and crispy. 
Remove from oven and arrange on serving plate, sprinkle with salt, pepper and fresh chopped herbs. Serve immediately!
TIPS 
* you can pre boild the day befor and store in the fridge, just remove from fridge 1 hour before. 
* add any extra herbs to this dish will boost the flavours.
