Smoothies bowls have become increasingly popular over the last couple of years – and for good reason! They are refreshing, nutritious, and perfect for these upcoming summer months..
There’s no need to visit a café, when you can whip up this recipe in just five minutes right at home!
Dragon Fruit Smoothie Bowl
Ingredients》
1 banana chopped, frozen
1 cup pineapple chopped,* frozen
1 cup mango chopped, frozen*
1 dragon fruit chopped, frozen*
1/4 cup coconut milk(milk of
choice)*
1 tsp honey
Pre freezes fruit the night before. Peel and choop fruit, place on a lined tray (single layer) place in freezer overnight.
Toppings》
Coconut
Fresh fruit
Granola
Chia seeds
Goji berries
INSTRUCTIONS》
Add the frozen fruit to a food processor/ blender.
Add half coconut milk, and then process until very smooth and the mixture begins to fluff up.
Use a spoon to push down any chunks of fruit that aren't processing, add the rest of milk(if needed). Process till smooth.
Smoothie should be super thick, almost like soft serve ice cream.
Place smoothly into bowl.
Top with fresh fruit, granola, chia seeds, nuts, coconut,cocoa nibs, honey, honestly the toppings are limitless...
NOTES
*Fruit needs to be fully frozen to use for this recipe, freeze fruit overnight to be sure it's ready to use.
* Milk of your choice can be used.
*Any fruit can be used, it just needs to be frozen.
*Use topping of your choice.
