Brazilian Lemonade
By T2T Food Blogger Kathryn
Brazilian Lemonade or Limeade as I call it, with only 4 ingredients it is light, refreshing, and creamy. It’s the perfect drink for special occasions or Sunday afternoon. This recipe couldn’t be easier to make into a cheeky cocktail by adding some White Rum.
INGREDIENTS》
7 limes, washed & quarted
6 cups water, cold
1 cup sugar
6Tbs sweetened condensed milk
INGREDIENTS》
Wash limes thoroughly, cut off both ends.
Place half of the water, half of the sugar, half of the limes and condensed milk then pulse 6-8 times in a blender. Pour through a fine-mesh strainer into a large jug, pressing the lime pulp with a spoon to help release juices.
Discard the remaining skins and pulp. Repeat with the other half of the water, sugar, limes and milk.
Adjust the limeade according to tastes by adding a little extra sweetened condensed milk or sugar as needed.
Serve with lots of ice and ring of condensed milk around rim of glass and slice of lime for garnish.Enjoy!
