Raw Feeding Preparation & Transition Guide
Meal Preparation Instructions
Each bag of meat is roughly 3 kg. Follow these steps to prepare meals:
1. Defrost the Bag of Meat
2. Allow the meat to fully defrost before mixing.
3. Prepare the Vegetables
Use any of the following vegetables:
Pumpkin (aids digestion and helps with diarrhea)
Zucchini
Broccoli
Cauliflower
Sweet Potato
All vegetables must be cooked (boiled until soft), then mashed or blended before mixing.
Add 300g of cooked vegetables to the defrosted meat.
Mix Thoroughly
Portion the Food
Split the mixture into two containers:
One for the fridge for immediate use.
One for the freezer for later.
Daily Feeding Amounts
Weigh out meals individually for each dog based on their required intake.
Transitioning from Dry Food to Raw
Since your dog is new to raw feeding, a 7-day transition is recommended:
Start with ½ cup of dry food mixed with half of their daily raw intake.
Gradually decrease the dry food while increasing the raw food each day.
By Day 7, your dog should be fully on raw food.
Additional Tips
If your dog experiences diarrhea, add extra pumpkin to help firm up stools.
Store prepared meals in airtight containers and keep frozen portions sealed until needed.
Always ensure your dog has access to fresh water.
